Graffiti removal / Brick, masonry and stone cleaning
Sand blasting, chemical washing and pressure washing do work well. But when you require something less intrusive, whether it be a historic building or a busy area where these methods cannot be used, laser cleaning is a the best method. We can clean graffiti, oil and paint from brick, concrete and stone surfaces on your commercial buildings, walkways and landscaping.
Vancouver’s iconic and historic buildings made of brick, sandstone, concrete, marble and other types of masonry are ideal candidates for Rapidfire’s laser cleaning technology. We don’t use water, sandblasting or chemicals to renew hard surfaces.

Wood beam and post stripping and renewal
There are many businesses and loft owners who love their Douglas-fir, hemlock and cedar post and beam spaces. Before laser cleaning was accessible, sandblasting was a good way to strip paint and aging from these historic buildings. This is a more invasive process that creates dust and requires a great deal of cleanup. Laser cleaning technology permits us to strip beams, posts, wooden ceilings and floors without abrasive or texture modification. We are also fully equipped with a line of dustless floor sanding machines to refinish wood floors.
-
Historic building and artifact restoration
Laser ablation permits us to carefully clean and restore sensitive pieces in museums, historic buildings and institutions. Wood, metal, stone artifacts, and building interiors can be carefully cleaned of smoke damage, oil, paint, varnish, and ageing, leaving original patina, scratching, indentations on the substrate. This is an excellent alternative to sanding, chemical cleaning and pressure washing. It is one of the least invasive methods of cleaning and restoring.
